The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and DFID are pleased to announce the appointment of a Strategic Advisory Team for the ESRC/DFID Joint Scheme for International Development (Poverty Alleviation). The team will work with the Scheme funders to secure and enhance the impact of research funded under the Scheme on policy and practice. The team is led by , UNESCO Chair in International Development & Director of the Edinburgh International Development Centre, with , Director of the Centre for South Asian Studies University of Edinburgh, and , Director of the Centre of African Studies and Director of the Edinburgh Global Development Academy.
