Dominic became Director General Transformation, Ministry of Defence in July 2025.

Previously Dominic was Director General at the Northern Ireland Office; and Director General of Security Policy at the the Ministry of Defence where he was responsible for policy on all Defence activity in the UK and overseas, for relationships with allies and partners globally and for ensuring that Defence policy and plans are fully integrated across Government.

Prior to that Dominic has held a variety of roles across policy, operations, strategy, and organisational design. This included four years in the Cabinet Office working on a range of cross-Departmental issues including investigatory powers, counter-terrorism legislation and the Justice and Security Bill.
