These documents are a toolkit of guidance on interval breast cancers for healthcare professionals to use when applying the duty of candour.
The toolkit includes:
- guidance on interval cancers and applying duty of candour
- an HTML and PDF version of an information leaflet for women about being diagnosed with breast cancer between screening appointments (the PDF version is available for trusts wishing to print the document for a patient)
- a PDF format infographic about interval cancers (to print out as required)
- a flowchart showing the application of duty of candour
