To get a copy of the conviction, you should:

It usually costs 拢5 for a copy but you may be able to聽get help with the fee.

If you don鈥檛 know the name of the court, ask the police officer who handled the investigation.

You can use the copy of the conviction as evidence if you鈥檙e applying for legal aid to divorce or separate from an abusive partner.

The conviction must be on this聽list of offences.
