Geographical boundaries covered in the participation survey

The international territorial level (ITL) is a geocode standard for referencing the subdivisions of the United Kingdom for statistical purposes. In England, the Participation Survey covers:
- ITL 1: there are 9 regions, for example, North West England, or London.
- ITL 2: there are 33 regions, for example, East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire, or Outer London – East and North East
International territorial level 1 (ITL 1)
Figure 1 shows the boundaries of the nine ITL 1 regions of England that the Participation Survey covers. There are 33 ITL 2 regions.

International territorial level 2 (ITL 2)
Figure 2 shows the boundaries of the 33 ITL 2 regions of England that the Participation Survey covers, where the regions inside London (LDN) are magnified in Figure 3. There are nine ITL 1 regions.
