This direction requires the council to continue to co-operate with the commissioner appointed by the Secretary of State for Education.
It follows:
- 聽of North East Lincolnshire Council local authority children鈥檚 services, published on 26 November 2021, that judged services to be inadequate across all sub judgements
- 补苍听independent report聽by Peter Dwyer CBE, the North East Lincolnshire Children鈥檚 Services Commissioner at the time
This direction replaces the聽earlier statutory direction聽issued to North East Lincolnshire Council on 1 June 2022.
