Regional Director’s welcome
The Acting Regional Director for London is Alan Parnum.
The regional improvement for standards and excellence (RISE) programme plays a vital role in supporting the government’s mission to break the link between a child’s background and their future success. By providing access to high-quality school improvement support, RISE helps ensure that every pupil, from early years through all key stages, has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their starting point.
We hope these resources will support your school’s improvement journey. The RISE advisers and I are committed to working collaboratively across the region to deliver on our shared priorities:
- raising attainment in English and maths
- improving attendance
- strengthening inclusive mainstream provision
- delivering high-quality reception practice
Together, we aim to build strong partnerships, share effective practice, and drive lasting improvement so that every school may rise, and every learner may flourish.
