This standard rules permit allows you to operate a waste facility for the storage and treatment of non-hazardous waste wood.听聽
You can apply for this standard rules permit if:聽

your activity meets the rules set out in the permit聽

you can manage the potential risks as set out in the generic risk assessment聽
The charges for applying for this standard rules permit are:聽

拢2,461 for a new standard rules permit application聽

拢792 for a minor variation to the permit聽

拢2,529 to transfer the permit聽

拢2,356 to surrender the permit聽
There is also an annual subsistence charge of 拢1,920 for the standard rules permit.听

How to鈥�apply for an environmental permit.听
This permit replaces:听听
If you cannot comply with the new standard rules permit you will need to鈥�apply to vary your permit鈥痠nto a bespoke permit. You must usually apply within 3 months of the date the standard rules was published (18 December 2024). We have extended this to 27 June 2025. Extension to comply with new standard rules permits RPS 331.
