Details
Legionnaires’ disease is a severe but uncommon form of pneumonia associated with exposure to water systems (natural or man-made) colonised by legionella bacteria. This report presents the epidemiological data based on reported cases of Legionnaires’ disease among residents of England and Wales who experienced the onset of symptoms during 2013. Data from previous years has been included, where appropriate, for comparison.
