Good conduct and police clearance request letters

Letters explaining that British embassies, high commissions and consulates do not issue UK criminal record certificates. Sometimes called information notes.

British embassies, high commissions and consulates cannot provide:

  • criminal records
  • good conduct certificates
  • police clearance letters

If your country or territory is not listed, use the 鈥楢ll countries and territories鈥 letter.

Stamped and signed versions of these letters cost 拢50 but are only available in some countries. if you can get a stamped and signed version.
